Fullstack Job: Senior Software Engineer

Campus is a stealth startup working on a B2B web3 metaverse platform.

About the Role:

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Campus, you will be responsible for designing scalable web3 solutions. You will solve extremely challenging technical problems and envision long term solutions using traditional backend development and the latest blockchain technologies

You will be a core team member to help us ideate, design, build and maintain a web3 metaverse platform that will let users operate a business. You will wear multiple hats so your influence will extend beyond a traditional software development role.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Work as a team to ideate and strategize on the product vision
• Research and build proof of concepts to test technology
• Translate production requirements into executable technical design and roadmap
• Design solutions that account for high volume and potential roadblocks
• Build and test features
• Follow an agile software development
• Drive development and enforcement of standards, tools and methodologies

You’ll need to have:

• Years of Experience: 5+ years as a backend software engineer
• Knowledge of the web3 space: blockchain, cryptocurrencies and metaverses
• Experience with building software on blockchain technology is a plus
• Experience with the Agile Software Development Process
• Initiative and self-motivation. Be able to work with little oversight.
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or technology-related field or equivalent work experience is a nice to have

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

• Experience in building scalable applications on traditional and cloud-based architectures
• Experience with data modeling and tuning of relational as well as NoSQL datastores
• Industry background as a software engineer, data engineer, cloud architect or relevant work experience
• Demonstrated ability to think and work systematically and logically
• In-depth knowledge in the following technology platforms/stacks:

• SQL Server and General Database Development
• .NET/.NET Core
• REST API development
• Front-end web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Javascript Frameworks)
• Microsoft/Azure platforms
• Other (AI, Blockchain, Python, PHP, etc)

Other Skills / Knowledge:

• Clear and concise oral and written communication
• Results oriented / self-directed ability to drive change in a fast-paced environment
• Time management skills – the ability to multitask and prioritize across several clients at the same time
• Passion and proven talent for launching projects on-time, on-strategy, and on-budget

Location: Irvine, CA
Annual Salary Range: MXN 18,000 - MXN 45,000 plus bonuses for strong project performance
Equity Range: 0% - 1%
